How long is EarthBound Beginnings?

EarthBound Beginnings was revealed to be coming to Nintendo Switch Online during Nintendo's February Nintendo Direct. The fan-favorite retro game is available to all Nintendo Switch online members. This is the first time the game has been playable on the Nintendo Switch and is the first time many players have had the opportunity to play the title. The game takes players around 18-20 hours to beat on average. This number can rise quickly with the addition of side quests and extras.

What is EarthBound Beginnings about?

EarthBound Beginnings is the first installment in the EarthBound (Mother) series and was initially released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. Since its release, EarthBound has become a fan-favorite franchise with a cult following. The game has a unique battle system and a large world to explore, especially for a title released so long ago.

In EarthBound Beginnings, players will explore the world as the character Ninten, a child with psychic abilities. Ninten will be tasked with collecting eight melodies in an effort to save the world from an alien invasion.
