With so many great banners coming out back-to-back, it can be hard to choose who to pull for. Kokomi is a five-star unit that had a lot of criticisms from fans when she was first released. After HoYoverse introduced the Ocean-Hued Clam artifact set, though, she became much more powerful.
What to Conisder before Wishing on Sangonomiya Kokomi
Kokomi isn't going to fit every team. Here's what you need to know before using your Primogems on her banner:
- Kokomi is a healer.
- She has a negative crit rate.
- She can easily apply off-field Hydro damage.
- She needs the Ocean-Hued Clam artifact set to perform properly.
Kokomi is excellent when used with teams who need Hydro application. Her elemental skill places a jellyfish on the field that will pulse out hydro damage and heal you at the same time. This allows for freeze, vaporize, and electro-charged reactions to activate easily.
With that being said, her primary focus is being a healer, something that most teams are already using Bennett or Barbara for. If you are looking for a DPS, you will also want to skip over Kokomi, as she really isn't that great at putting out high-damage numbers in comparison to characters like Raiden Shogun.
