Hot on the heels of the Sadako Rising chapter, Behaviour Interactive has released yet another bugfix patch for the popular asymmetric horror title, Dead by Daylight. There are several fixes and a known issue still lingering. So, let's get into it.
Dead by Daylight 5.6.2 Patch Notes, March 23
A known issue of Killer sound effects missing when going from the "Play as Killer" menu to the Store remains. Swapping to a different Killer while in the Store will resolve the issue.

An issue where Sadako Rising DLC achievements on PS4 wouldn't unlock has been resolved. The Hillbilly's chainsaw SFX has been restored, so Survivors can recommence being terrified. Several cosmetic issues have also been resolved.

Of course, due to the way patches work in Dead by Daylight, even small patches can take an inordinate amount of time. This is because the game must verify each of the files required for play. The patch itself will typically download fairly quickly (depending on the Internet package), but it's the unpacking and verifying of files that can take ages. As unfortunate as it is, patience is key.
