If you're worried about not being able to manually save your game progress, do not fret. Kirby and the Forgotten Land saves automatically very often. The game will autosave whenever a player passes a checkpoint, finishes a cutscene, or completes an action within the town. Look for the Saving message in the corner to see when the game is saving progress.
