Fortnite Resistance Week 5 Quest Guide: Where to plant Wiretaps

The war rages on between The Seven and the IO in Fortnite. The Seven recruit you for yet another time to help fend off the IO and regain peace on the island with their Resistance quests. After establishing an uplink near Command Cavern, The Fortress, or Loot Lake, The Seven ask you to plant some Wiretaps to listen in on their enemies' plans.

To plant a Wiretap, you must find the exact spot where they need to go. There is usually an exclamation mark on your map. In that spot, you should see a shining outline of the Wiretap box, and then you can hold 'X' on your Xbox controller, 'Square' on your Playstation controller, or 'E' on your PC to plant them. There are three different Wiretaps for you to plant, and here's where they need to go.

Command Cavern

One of the Wiretaps must go to the Northwest of Command Cavern. It can be found outside, on a platform near a siege cannon. It is beside a large red antennae tower surrounded by a tall gate.

The Fortress

Another Wiretap must be planted outside The Fortress. You should be able to find it on the left side of the entrance ramp on the ground floor but beware of the IO and Dr. Slone that prowl the area.

Dispatch Depot

The last Wiretap must be planted at Dispatch Depot. You can find the spot toward the Nothern building and plant it against the outside wall near the gas pumps.
