In Apex Legends, survival is the key to winning in the battle royale mode, and you can do this by taking active fights or passively playing the zone. You can scan Survey Beacons that reveal the next circle on the map if you select a Recon class Legend. Similarly, knowing a few rat spots on various maps will allow players to avoid combat entirely and hide from enemies for a longer period.
Olympus Rat Spots locations in Apex Legends
Olympus is undoubtedly one of the best maps for Apex Legends battle royale, and players often search for ideal rat spots that would keep them concealed in plain sight. We decided to solo queue in matches and hide at these rat spots till the very end of the last circle. While there are several spots where players can try this technique, we have shortlisted ten of the best rat spots on Olympus to help players survive longer by avoiding combat and hiding in plain sight. Follow the yellow circles on the map reference above to locate these rat spots.
The first rat spot is located at Hydroponics, and it is perhaps the best one to hide from opponents without attracting attention. Move toward the edge of the open area at Hydroponics, and walk along the wall to hide from enemies. You can reach this rat spot with any Legend in the game.
The second rat spot is located near the bridge south of Estates. Climb on top of the mountain, and hide under the structure there. This structure shadows the character allowing players to hide in plain sight.
Hammond Labs is one of the hot-drop locations on Olympus, and it's easy to get outnumbered at this POI. There is a rat spot located close to Hammond Labs, near the secondary entrance at Maintenance. Move to the left side of the stairs to enter this rat spot.
The next rat spot is located at the bridge connecting Gardens to Energy Depot. Walk on the left of the bridge to enter this rat spot. While you can reach this spot with any Legend, it's ideal to use Valkyrie or Pathfinder to get in this spot easily.

Another rat spot is located at the map's southern edge near the Icarus POI. The rat spot is located under the huge vines coming out of the Icarus ship. You can reach this location with any Legend, and players will simply have to crouch walk near this spot to hide from opponents.
One of the sneakiest rat spots on Olympus is located just north of Gardens POI. Players can reach this spot with any Legend, and they will simply have to walk close to the bridge and climb up cavity. After reaching this spot, simply walk left to hide behind the tree which shadows the entire Legend.

Although Orbital Cannon is located on the edge of the map, it is a high-tier loot zone where countless teams drop for fights. If you are outnumbered at this POI, then simply drop down the ledge shown in the map image above. Players can reach this area with any Legend, but we recommend using Valkyrie or Pathfinder to easily move in and out of this rat spot.
Perhaps one of the most broken rat spots on Olympus is located at the Turbine POI. This spot allows players to merge with the map while becoming invisible to the enemy almost. Players can easily climb up here as Valkyrie and Pathfinder and use Octane's jump pad to reach this spot. Although you cannot shoot from this spot, players will be vulnerable to grenades, arc stars, and other throwable abilities.
Another rat spot is located at the bridge that connects Fight Night to the Power Grid POI. The boxes located on the left of the bridge have a nice hiding spot. You can reach this area with any Legend and will simply have to crouch to hide at this location.
The final rat spot is located east of Fight Night, near the path connecting to Turbine. There is a neat hiding spot at the boxes close to the entrance. Simply jump up on the boxes, drop down at the empty spot, and crouch to rat at this location.
