Greedfall 2: The Dying World takes place before the adventures of De Sardet, the main character from Greedfall. Greedfall 2: The Dying World puts players in control of a character who has come to Gacane, which is hinted at in the first game.

The main character must explore the ancient lands of Uxantis and Olima, the city of stars of the Bridge Alliance, and uncover its secrets.
