How to romance The Trapper in Hooked on You A DBD Dating Sim

The unthinkable has happened: Behaviour Interactive has bestowed upon us the majesty that is Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim. After washing ashore in a tropical island paradise, you must attempt to win the heart of one of four dreamy Killers. The Trapper is the mascot for the Dead by Daylight series, so it should come naturally to want his affections. Here's how to win him over.

How to seduce The Trapper in Hooked on You A DBD Dating Sim

Day 1

• When pressured by the Narrator to choose your favorite ice cream, choose "Mint Chip."
• Choose to go to Trapper's Yacht.
• You'll be asked to choose the appetizer. Select "You can't choose."
• To win over The Trapper, you'll need to be mean to the help. Choose "Get rid of them."
• If you're reading this guide, then you'll obviously want to spend time with The Trapper. Choose him.
• When the group asks why you're not eating, tell them, "This is gross."
• As you awake on the beach in the burly arms of The Trapper, he'll open up to you and ask if you want to see his art. Respond with a polite "No."
• When The Trapper begins to walk away, "Follow quietly."
• After The Trapper shares his tale with you, reply "Magnificent."
• At the evening campfire choose The Trapper to tell a story. As he finishes and asks what you thought, reply, "Now THAT'S a story."
• Now that you two are alone, you can give him your real thoughts. Tell him, "Honesty is important."
• Choose to "Laugh" when he throws his cleaver at Dwight and Claudette.
• Understandably, you'll have a hard time sleeping. Beckon The Trapper to you.

Day 2

• You'll get your choice of a date for the day. Pick The Trapper.
• Trapper will warn you about the water. "Assume it's a trap."
• Trapper will then tell you to stay away from the cave entrance. Select "Don't tell me what to do."
• When The Trickster shows up to spoil your date and asks if you want to find love with him, select "Tell him no."
• When he asks why, say "You're loyal to Trapper."
• After The Trapper steps out, this is the perfect time for you to "Snoop around."
• The Trapper will return with a jug of moonshine. When he asks if you want a drink, reply with "Hell yeah."
• The Huntress will try and lure you away with the promise of starting a family. Tell her "No, you're remaining loyal to Trapper."
• After rebuffing her, Trapper will ask if you want kids. Select "No."
• You'll head back to Trapper's cave with himb and he'll finally show you his art. Honesty is key here. Tell him "It's terrible."
• When it comes time to recap your day, "Say nothing."
• For this evening's storytelling session, select "Fine, I'll tell a story" and "Action."
• For the second round of stories, select Trapper. When he's done, "Say nothing."
• You'll be asked who you want to spend time with. Select Trapper. He'll ask you why he chose this spot. Tell him "It's another test" and "Survival."
• Trapper then lays it on thick and asks if you want to spend the night with him. Keep him guessing with "Maybe, maybe not."
• Things will get complicated. Tell him, "You understand."
• At the end of the day, you'll need to eliminate a Killer. Pick anyone but Trapper.

Day 3

• Give the bouquet of flowers to Trapper.
• Trapper will ask you what you desire most from the island. Tell him "Power." You can then ask Trapper a question. Ask him "What he wants in a partner."
• Trapper will ask if you want to see his secret tunnel. Tell him "Only if he promises not to kill you."
• Now is the time to lay your soul bare. Tell him of "True romantic heartbreak."
• Trapper will then tell you of himself and ask about his father. "Tell him his father raised him right."
• Surprise! You're meeting your future in-law. Select "Uh, is he okay?"
• Select "No, you don't believe him."
• After asking Trapper's father some questions, the tables turn. Answer with the following:
  • "Never."
  • "A partner in crime" and "Literally."
  • "Yes."
• When you have a moment to yourself, "Look around."
• Trapper will have returned with his surprise. Say, "Finally! Let's do this!"
• When asked about his performance, reply "Meh."
• Trapper will ask if you would kill someone for him. Reply "Depends on the person."
• Trapper will ask you to kill his father. Tell him "No." When pressed why, tell him "I would never kill any MacMillan."
• If you're ready to commit to this lumbering psychopath, choose "Yes, I love Trapper!"
  • If you were playing the long con, select "No, I don't love him."
