Slime Rancher has several resources that you can feed to the slimes, including fruit, veggies, meat, and other special items. Among the veggies in the game, Odd Onion is the hardest one to find and is even rarer than Water Lettuce. This guide mentions the best possible ways to locate this item.

Where to find Odd Onion in Slime Rancher 2

We found Odd Onions in the Ember Valley region, which is the island to the west of Rainbow Fields. These veggies don't grow in their own separate patch, but rather amongst other veggie patches such as Carrot and Heart Beet. Since Odd Onions spawn randomly, you may or may not find them in the spots we've marked on the map above. Nonetheless, keep searching and you will definitely find this veggie in nearby areas.

Can you farm Odd Onion in Slime Rancher 2?

You can grow Odd Onions at your ranch inside The Conservatory. You can purchase a Garden at any empty plot for 250 Newbucks and plant this veggie. When the crops grow fully in a few hours after plantation, you'll see mostly Carrots with a few Odd Onion pods here and there.
