Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event has arrived in the game with various new cosmetics and a few changes to the gameplay. One of the major changes surrounds Horizon, who is undoubtedly one of the best Legends to play with. Horizon's Gravity Lift seems to affect bullet trajectory and accuracy after the update, which concerns players. Here's everything to know about the Horizon nerf in the Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event update.
Was Horizon nerfed in Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event update?
Various professional players and community experts posted clips of Horizon's nerf after the Spellbound Collection Event update. Furia's HisWattson posted a Twitter clip showing an inaccurate spray pattern from the R-301 while using Horizon's Gravity Lift. Horizon's Gravity Lift is one of the best Tactical Abilities in the game, and you can use that to counter enemies, reposition, and for various other functions.

Usually, spraying down with a weapon while using the Gravity Lift did not impact the bullet's trajectory. Strafing mid-air and shooting at the enemy is one of the oldest tricks used by Horizon mains, and this change will definitely act as a nerf for the character. Incidentally, nothing was mentioned in the patch notes about this change, and players still wonder if it's a bug.
We tested it out in the firing range and did not experience the massive bullet veering effect. Respawn Entertainment has not addressed the issue yet, which means it can very well be a bug affecting Horizon's Gravity Lift temporarily. We recommend players keep an eye on Apex Legends' official Twitter page to stay up to date with any updates regarding this issue.
