How to get the Puppet Show-Off Achievement in Genshin Impact

Puppet Show-Off is a Genshin Impact Challenger: Series IV Achievement that can be obtained by defeating the Maguu Kenki while he's taunting you. It requires careful set-up and timing to pull off but is a relatively simple Achievement to unlock. Make sure to have a short-range DPS unit in your team.

How to defeat the Maguu Kenki while he is taunting you in Genshin Impact

Start by heading to the Maguu Kenki's area in the Serpent's Head in Inazuma and initiate battle. Your goal is to deplete the boss' HP as much as possible until there's only enough left to one-shot him with your close-range DPS. While doing this, be conscious about making sure that your off-field DPS attacks are turned off toward the end, as they can accidentally kill the boss.

Once the Maguu Kenki's HP is low enough, switch to your short-range DPS and move away from him until there's a visible distance between the two of you. When you're far enough, the boss will eventually gesture for you to come closer, as pictured above. This is his taunt movement, and you must defeat him during the narrow frame where this animation is still active. A long-range DPS can't deal damage against the boss while he's taunting you, so your short-range DPS will have to quickly run toward Maguu Kenki and deal the final blow.

This can be a little tricky to get, but you can try as many times as you like. When you successfully defeat the Maguu Kenki while the taunt animation is active, you'll get the Challenger: Series IV Achievement called Puppet Show-Off.
