If you're a fishing aficionado, you want your best catches on display. Each prized fish takes effort and perseverance to catch, and you don't want that to go unseen. Genshin Impact provides a solution to this dilemma through Ornamental Fish, which can be placed in the Shaded Clarity fish tank in your Serenitea Pot. However, these fish are uncommon, and require a bit of searching to locate. Here's how to get Ornamental Fish in Genshin Impact.
Where do you find Ornamental Fish in Genshin Impact?
You can technically find Ornamental Fish at any fishing spot, but there is one way to tell them apart from regular fish. Ornamental Fish occasionally jump out of the water, even if you're not currently in the fishing mode. To determine whether there are Ornamental Fish at the water hole, simply watch the waters for five seconds. If a fish jumps, that one is Ornamental.

You can check whether you have any Ornamental Fish by opening your inventory, selecting the Furnishings tab, and scrolling down. They should appear as purple icons with tiny pictures of the individual fish. Once you have an Ornamental Fish, you can purchase the Shaded Clarity furnishing from Tubby in your Serenitea Pot, then craft and place it. If you select Take Care of Fish Tank, you can display up to three Ornamental Fish at once in a single tank. You can also press Lightly Tap to cause the fish to swim around. If you run out of room in your tank, don't worry. You can always craft more Shaded Clarity furnishings.
