What should you inscribe into the Holy Cedar Tablets in Diablo 4?

Pick a holy option.

Diablo IV features many characters, quests, and locations to discover across Sanctuary. These all come together during the Rite of Passage quest, where you find yourself approaching the city of Kyovashad. You are escorted here by Lorath Nahr but cannot enter until you inscribe something into the Holy Tablet. With five options, you may wonder what to inscribe into the Holy Cedar Tablets in Diablo IV.

Which Rite of Passage Inscription should you choose in Diablo IV

Ultimately, it does not matter what Rite of Passage you inscribe into the Holy Cedar Tablets in Diablo IV. The ritual is ultimately meaningless, so you can choose whatever option you want. Here are all options for the Rite of Passage Inscription in Diablo IV.

  • Inscribe "Fear" into the wood.
  • Inscribe "Anger" into the wood.
  • Inscribe "Pride" into the wood.
  • Inscribe "Greed" into the wood.
  • Inscribe nothing but scribbles into the wood.

Whichever option you pick, you will be rewarded with 300 gold and 880 experience and cast the tablet into the fire. Selecting any option will grant you entry to the city of Kyovashad and allow you to continue. It is possible to inscribe multiple passages, but this will not do anything further.
