Can you play Honkai Star Rail on Mac?

There’s no easy way to say this, but you can’t play Star Rail on a macOS. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t play it on a Mac. To do this, you’ll have to download Windows to your device.

How to play Star Rail on Mac

Before we teach you the method, remember that this method could end up damaging your files. Windows OS will take up space on your hard drive, which might cause some issues. Back up everything on your Mac before you get started.

To play Star Rail on your Mac, you’ll need to use Boot Camp Assistant to add Windows to your device. This should already be included in your macOS. Make sure you have at least 128GB of free storage space on your Mac startup disk to avoid any issues.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. With Windows running in the background, you should be able to download Honkai: Star Rail on your Mac. Good job!

Honkai: Star Rail could also be added to GeForce NOW like Genshin Impact, which shouldn’t require Windows. However, there have been no announcements from HoYoverse about doing the same for Star Rail—at least as of today.
