While fighting for my life in Remnant 2, I've encountered numerous enemies, puzzles, quests, and unique items. One item I found that both intrigued and disgusted me was the Severed Hand. At first, I figured it must be used somewhere in Losomn. However, this was not the case, so if you're stuck trying to figure out what to do with the Severed Hand in Remnant 2, I've got you covered.
What does the Severed Hand do in Remnant 2?
The Severed Hand is an unusual quest item in Remnant 2. Unlike most, it does function in some quests or puzzles. However, you can still claim a reward by inspecting it. This can be either the Ring of the Damned or the Strong Arm Band. Here is how to use the Severed Hand.
- Open your menu.
- Go to your inventory.
- Select the Severed Hand.
- Inspect it.
- Then, interact with it.
Whether you get the Ring of the Damned or Strong Arm Band is random, so you don't get a choice of which item you receive. Here is what both items do.
- Ring of the Damned
- Increases all damage dealt by 10% while Grey Health is present.
- Strong Arm Band
- Increases Throw Distance by 30 and increases the effectiveness of Combat Consumables by +0.5%.
Where to find the Severed Hand in Remnant 2?
The Severed Hand can be found in The Great Sewer. As you progress through the area, look for a Dran hanging in a cage. While there are many throughout this level, keep an eye out for one with a purple glow. Shoot the cage, and the Severed Hand will drop to the ground. Go pick up the item to add it to your inventory.
