Contact Dunks are nice to have since they'll allow you to finish in traffic without it ending with a missed dunk. It's especially strong in a Park setting, so it make sense people gravitate toward the skill.

  • Elite Bigman Standing Contact Dunks: Requires 90+ Standing Dunk, 75+ Vertical, height 6’10” or above.

The skills you get do depend on your build's height, and as you can see big men have different attributes needed than guards and forwards. If you're building your character in a way to pick up some of these dunk packages, you're likely putting the attributes in the right spots already, so the contact dunks will come naturally.

How to perform Contact Dunks in NBA 2K24

If you do pick up the Contact Dunks, it's important to know how to pull on off in a game. You can do this by holding down R2/RT when going toward them rim and then holding X/A – all depending on whether you're on PlayStation or Xbox.

It's not a hard move to pull off, but of course you'll want to have to deal with a defender contesting your shot. Once you get good enough to always have your dunk go off in the green meter, you'll start having problems. Getting your attributes high enough to the Elite status helps too.
