Are getting Bobbleheads worth it in Fallout 3?

Getting all Bobbleheads in Fallout 3 is very worth it, and I recommend you go the extra mile in digging them up to gain extra stat boosts for your character. Here are all the benefits you get from acquiring a Bobblehead:

  • For each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Bobblehead, you get +1 to its corresponding S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat. Attaining these Bobbleheads when you have Maxed (10) S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats will not do anything for your character.
  • For the Skill Bobblehead, you gain +10 points on the corresponding skill. It's definitely worth getting, especially if you don't have a maxed-out character and you're struggling during the early to mid-game phase.
  • You can store them in the Bobblehead Collector's Stand in the Megaton House or in the Tenpenny Tower Suite.
  • Collecting all Bobbleheads is essential to get two trophies:
    • Yes, I play with Dolls
    • Vault-Tec C.E.O.

Bobbleheads are an awesome way to buff yourself for free permanently. Couple those stat increases with a decent weapon and armor set, and you're ready to decimate those pesky Deathclaws in one of the best RPG games of all time.
