Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion introduces three new biomes with their respective fauna. In the Glittering Dunes area, you will encounter extremely speedy snakes which slither away as soon as you start to get close to them. How to feed a Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To tame a Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley you must feed it a Scorpion, as it's their favorite food. But before befriending a Cobra, you must first get close to it. This is the tricky part!
Where to find and how to approach a Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can find Cobras in the Glittering Dunes biome on Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can spot Cobra quickly because they slither around quickly and then stands up, scanning the surroundings. You can also easily hear Cobra because it hisses pretty loudly. Although detecting a Cobra is easy, catching up to one is not. Be careful, as it will run (crawl?) away very fast if it notices you approaching.
If the Cobra lays flat on the ground, it's relaxed. You can move towards it without worry when a Cobra is in this phase. When it perks up and looks around, it will see you if you try to come nearer to it. It is quite similar to the children's game, Red-light-green-light! Each time the cobra relaxes, move a few steps forward. Stop quickly when it perks up though or it will run away and you'll be back to square one!
Once you get close enough, you will get the prompt to approach it and give it food. Your inventory will open, and you should select a Scorpion to feed to the Cobra. After a short feeding scene, the Cobra will be delighted with your generosity!
How to get a Scorpion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To feed a Cobra, you must first catch a Scorpion. You can fish for it in the sand colored pools in Glittering Dunes. It is a rare "fish" so try to target the blue circles.
