Creating a base is a big part of Palworld, and while building and repairing items may be easier to figure out, moving misplaced items can be a bit trickier. Here's how you can rearrange your base!
How to move objects and buildings in Palworld
To move objects and structures that you have built, you will need to disassemble them. Unfortunately, you won't be able to pick them back up after placing them down in build mode, so taking them apart and rebuilding them is the only way. The good news is that you will get back all the materials you used to make it, allowing you to build it again where you want.
To disassemble an item, you will need to enter Build mode. Press up on the D-pad on controller or B on the PC to do so. Once in Build mode, you will have the option to turn on Disassembly Mode, which is shown at the bottom of your screen. To activate it, you press the right stick in on the controller or C on the PC.
Once you're in Disassembly mode, you can hover over any of the items you built, and they will turn red. Then, hold the Disassemble button, which is X on the controller or M1 on the PC. The item will be destroyed, and you will receive all the materials back for it.
If you're trying to move your base, there is also a quick way to grab multiple items as well. Just Disassemble your Pal Box, and any items that cannot be placed outside your base will be picked up at the same time. It will give you a warning message beforehand to ensure you didn't do this accidentally.
Disassembling is handy in case you want to get rid of any items, rearrange your base, or move bases altogether. Don't worry about losing any materials; you'll get them all back, and you can just build it again where you like.
