High-Quality Pal Oil is one of those resources that come from numerous locations because the resource itself comes from other Pals. Specifically, most medium to large Pals will drop High-Quality Pal Oil. I farm my High-Quality Pal Oil from the roaming Mammorest and Relaxaurus that randomly roam the central area of the map.

Pals also randomly spawn in different locations as you explore the world, so keep an eye out for the larger ones to get oil from.

How to use High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld

The most pressing uses of High-Quality Pal Oil in Palworld are related to the creation of firearms. Most weapons that utilize any form of Gunpowder tend to require High-Quality Pal Oil to be made and to be repaired. The quality of the firearm in question also affects how much High-Quality Pal Oil you need to use to make it in the first place. Basically, the more glamorous it is, the more High-Quality Pal Oil you'll need to obtain.

It is for this reason that I highly recommend capturing/killing every large Pal you come across during your adventures in Palworld. High-quality pal Oil is not a heavy resource, so you shouldn't have any problem carrying it around with you or storing it in very large quantities.
