Fortnite Rocket Racing Patch Notes v28.10 - January 23, 2024
Updates
- Added two new tracks to race on: Lazy Lake 2 and K2 Raceway Duex
- New customization options: Trails
- Added free Drift Smoke Trail to everyone's lockers
- Added Season Zero Tune Up Quests
Fixes and Improvements
Mobile
- Improved the D-pad, accelerate, Turbo, air dodge, and jump buttons, with better visual and usability
- Improved Auto Accelerate by enabling it. It can be toggled on or off
- Improving braking, requiring you to press and hold the brake button to stop. Once you reach 0 on the speedometer, you’ll start to reverse
Other
- Improved overall CPU performance
- Improved sitting idle during a race, removing players back to the Lobby
- Improved Car collision, making it be less severe
- Improved Air dodging, making it smoother when landing
- Added option to wiggle and swivel the camera before a race
- Fixed “Invert Steer Method” setting, which inverts steering controls when upside down, allowing it to remain enabled when changed
- Fixed an issue related to players getting stuck post-race
- Fixed an issue on Android that prevented players from switching languages
Although it may not seem like much, these small improvements and updates are making a big difference in the way Rocket Racing plays and will continue doing so with future updates, so stay tuned!
