Sweet Dreams is an Adventure Escape Mystery with a super cute theme and artwork. That doesn’t mean it has easy puzzles, so read on for Chapter 5 of my full walkthrough and guide if you need some hints.
Adventure Escape Mysteries Sweet Dreams walkthrough, Chapter 5
This chapter of Sweet Dreams begins just as we’ve gone through the second portal after completing the bunny realm. Not the section of the game you were looking for? Fear not! Just go to my Sweet Dreams walkthrough hub page to find links to guides for all the Sweet Dreams chapters.
Getting to the plane
Take the Construction Block (a1), and a Game Disc (a2), and then click under the bed (a3) to find three Construction Blocks, a second Game Disc, and a Battery (in the foot of the dinosaur on the right). Click the bear’s feet (a4) to get a third Game Disc and a Button.
Add the battery to the controller (a5) to power it up, then click it again to start a puzzle. You need to click the green buttons to match the image you see on the ceiling to crack the code. See the buttons you need to press on the image above (the order isn’t important). Once that’s done, the truck (a6) will drive under the bed, allowing you to take a fourth Game Disc.
Click under the bed once more and note the numbers on the trucks (5742). Use these numbers to set the levels (left to right) on the side of the fire truck (a7, see above), then pull the lever on the left to raise the ladder.
Select the plane (a8) for a close-up and take another Construction Block, a Rubber Band, two Game Discs, a Calendar, (on the books), and a Laser Pointer (in the bear’s pocket). Also, note that the plane is missing a wheel.

Fixing the plane
Get a close-up of Connect 4 (a9) and use the laser pointer to distract the cat, allowing you to take the Instructions and a Construction Block from the cat's box. Add the blocks and the band to the large green construction block in front of the connect 4 and then build the catapult (see the completed catapult below).
Now add the six discs to the catapult and launch them into the Connect 4 game. The clues for the order and positions are on the calendar you picked up and the growth chart (a10). Work from the bottom date on the height chat and match the position on the calendar to find where the discs need to land. Shoot the discs to the following columns (from left) in the following order:
- Column 2: Red then Yellow
- Column 4: Red
- Column 6: Red
- Column 7: Yellow and Yellow again
Once complete, you can take the Wind Up Key. Head back up to the plane, use the button to fix the wheel, then wind up the plane.
When you move through the vent, this section is on a timer, and you need to match 8 pieces of cobweb before the time runs out. This can be tricky but you have unlimited attempts. Unfortunately, the sequence changes each time, so you’ll have to work out your sequence to get through (don’t forget you can use hints or skips if you don’t want to work this one out).
Climbing the desk
Grab the Puzzle Pieces (b1-2), click the sneakers (b3) to get some Bubble Gum, then click the cat house (b4) to gain access to the desk.
Select the desk for a close-up and take the Yarn Ball, Pipe Cleaner (click the crocodile to find it), Thumbtack (in the worm), and Tape (move the drawings to find it). Add the tape to the dispenser in the same desk close-up, and also use the pipe cleaner to get the Key. Use the key to open the drawer and go into it.
Take a second Thumbtack (c1) from the drawer and the Broken Lens (c2) from the sunglasses. Use the lens to cut the tape on the light pen box (c3) take the Light Pens, and also grab the Pencil (c4). Add the light pens to the game (b5) to start a puzzle. See the solution below.
Getting the exit crystal
Note that once the puzzle is complete, the image shows a turtle and a dolphin. Select the grate (b6) and use the pencil, then add the gum to it to get the third Puzzle Piece. Use the yarn ball to distract the cat (b7) so you can get to the puzzle, along with a fourth Puzzle Piece. Now you can add the puzzle pieces and complete them.
Look for sections in the puzzle (divided up by the yellow lines) that have either a dolphin or a turtle in them. Now select the vacuum (b8), click the corresponding sections on it, and it will open up (see the sections you need to highlight above). Take the final Thumbtack.
Add the thumbtacks to the board (b9) and you’ll be able to collect the Exit Crystal. Tp the crystal and you’ll once again be returned to the portal room. Add the crystal to the door and the chapter will be complete.
