LEGO mode has taken the Fortnite players by storm, which is why Epic Games has decided to allow creators to develop their custom islands. If you're also interested in this program, here's how you can create your own custom island in LEGO Fortnite.
How to make a custom island in LEGO Fortnite
If you want to build your own LEGO Islands, you have to join the Island Creator Program and agree to the extra terms and conditions. This includes giving the LEGO Group 15% of the engagement payout that your LEGO Island generates. Epic Games will also take out the 15% from your payout and send you the rest.
Here are the steps to get started:
- Sign up first at the Epic Games official website.
- Then, after agreeing to the extra terms and conditions, you can go directly to a LEGO Template island.
- Click the LEGO Templates tab from the Golden Rift console in Fortnite Creative.
- In UEFN, choose the LEGO tab in the Project Browser.
You also have to ensure that your island follows the Brand and Creator rules for LEGO Islands and that your game complies with the LEGO Island age ratings limit. For instance, your island needs to have an ESRB rating of E10+ or below to be playable by players in the United States and a PEGI rating of 7 or below to be playable by players in most of Europe.

All LEGO Island Creator Templates
You have four island templates to start with — one empty and three with various biomes. These templates are the foundation for your LEGO Island, which you can build with Fortnite’s creator tools.
1. Home Builder
2. Obstacle Course
3. Music Concert
4. Starter Island
As soon as a player chooses a LEGO Island in Discover, their Fortnite Outfit changes to its Minifigure LEGO Style (if it has one). They can play with any Outfits and Emotes that work with LEGO Fortnite on a LEGO Island.
