How to unlock Newt in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns

Newt, a recent addition to Vampire Survivors in the Operation Guns DLC, is not just another character. Armed with Diver Mines, Newt can effortlessly annihilate swarms of enemies, making them a force to be reckoned with. If you're eager to harness this unique power, here's a guide on unlocking Newt in Vampire Survivors and making them your primary character.

How to get Newt in Vampire Survivors 

To get Newt in Vampire Survivors, you must embark on a thrilling and challenging hunt to find 28 Grenades in Neo Galuga. Grenades are one of the several powerups that can be obtained by shooting flying drones on the Neo Galuga map. Though they are a random drop, you can easily find one due to their high rarity rate. So, look for these flying drones and take them to find Grenades.

Sometimes, you may also find them randomly on the ground. You can quickly identify them by their rocket-like appearance. Walk over them to collect and utilize the power of Grenades. If you are wondering what a Grenade does, it immediately eliminates all the enemies on your screen, providing breathing space in very close situations. 

Once you have collected 28 such Grenades, you will unlock Newt in Vampire Survivors. Remember, though the objective says to find 28 Grenades, it's always better to collect them instead of just finding/locating them to be on the safer side.

Best Newt Loadout in Vampire Survivors

Though you can make several loadouts for Newt, I highly recommend including Santa Water in each one. Both Diver Mines (Newt's default weapon) and Santa Water require the same perk—Attractorb—for evolution, making your life much easier in late games. Considering that aspect and the weapon mechanism of Diver Mines, I would suggest you use the following build for Newt.
