How to get Coup-En in Zenless Zone Zero

Nothing makes me happier than watching Bangboo do things.

Coup-En is an important gacha currency used to pull for Zenless Zone Zero's army of Bangboo—adorable devices used to assist you in Hollow exploration. As of the final beta, they are completely free to get and can't be purchased with real-life money. Here are all the ways you can collect Coup-En in ZZZ.

Where to find Coup-En in Zenless Zone Zero

This guide will be updated once the full game is out.

Sant is located in the back alley of Sixth Street and is willing to take all of your Spray Paints in exchange for rewards, including Coup-Ens, Dennies, Bangboo System Widgets, Master Tapes, and other amazing valuables. Spray Paints can be obtained from completing all kinds of Commissions on the Inter-Knot, so you'll naturally collect a ton of them as you play the game.

The New Eridu City Fund is ZZZ's take on the essential battle pass. Both the free Basic Plan and paid Growth Plan will offer Coup-Ens as rewards for certain levels. You can get around five per update with the Basic Plan, assuming you max out the entire New Eridu City Fund.

En-Nies Exchange

You can purchase five Coup-Ens using En-Nies in the Signal Shop. En-Nies are currencies you get every time you pull from the Bangboo banner. The rates are as follows:

  • S-Rank - 50 En-Nies
  • A-Rank - 10 En-Nies
  • B-Rank - two En-Nies

Rally Commissions

The Rally Commission is a combat-focused game mode where you'll be thrown into a Hollow area to defeat waves of enemies. There's no Hollow exploration involved, but you do have to move around the area to find the next group of enemies, collect items to heal your team, and enter Fissures to trigger special events. There are multiple stages of Rally Commissions, and completing each for the first time will reward you with a Coup-En.

Hollow Zero

Hollow Zero is a rogue-like game mode similar to Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe. Upon entering the special Hollow, you need to work around Corruptions (debuffs), choose and merge special Resonia to buff your team, and power through random encounters until you reach the end of the Hollow. Completing a Hollow Zero stage for the first time will reward you with Coup-En.

Additionally, completing Hollow Zero stages will reward you with Investigation Points, which will increase your License level (accessible via the bottom left of the Hollow Zero screen). Reaching certain level milestones will reward you with additional Coup-En. Since you can only get up to 5,000 Investigation Points per week, I suggest prioritizing Hollow Zero in your weeklies to increase your License levels quickly.
