Errors and glitches are one thing, but it's another thing entirely when the game doesn't want to work at all. One major issue happening with PS5 players is that the DLC doesn't seem to show up when they start their game, despite them purchasing it and downloading it normally. If you've run into this problem, don't panic, there are some ways you can fix it:

Elden Ring DLC not working on PS5 - Solutions

  • Log out and back in to PlayStation Network — The first method you can try to fix your problem is to log out of the PlayStation network and then log in again. It might not have caught up with your most recent downloads or updates, but it can refresh when you log in.
  • Restart your PS5 — If logging out and back in doesn't work, try restarting your console altogether. Your console may need a complete refresh to detect any new content, and perhaps even a system update that you weren't aware of.
  • Download the game on the main SSD storage drive — If you have the game and DLC downloaded on an external drive, try transferring them to the SSD storage on the main console instead (uninstalling and reinstalling the game and DLC may help as well).
  • Restore the game license on your PS5 — Another method you can try is to restore the game licenses. To do this, navigate to the following: Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses. In this menu, press the 'Restore' button to begin the process. Once this is done, restart the game and test it out.
  • Contact PS5 Support — If none of the other methods seem to work, you can always try and contact the PS5 support team. They might be able to give you some more directions on how to fix the problem.

We know how frustrating these problems can be, but hopefully, these solutions worked for you. Stay calm and collected and you'll be back into your game before you know it, and enjoying that new content.
