The Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana can be gained by defeating the Ancient-Dragon Man boss in the Dragon's Pit dungeon, which is east of the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace (the first Grace you find in the DLC). This boss is located at the end of the dungeon and defeating them will give you this great Katana as a reward.

The Ancient-Dragon Man is a powerful boss who can end you with a few hits with his jumping slash attack and charging-forward slash attack. Your best bet is to corner him and damage him with some heavy melee combos. He also does Dragon Bite and Magma Breath attacks, which you should dodge away from.
You can also use magic spells on him from a further distance but he gets close to you very quickly so you'll have to dodge-roll fast. He gets staggered easily with a few powerful hits, which gives you an opening to perform a couple of heavy attacks.

As the name implies, it is absolutely lethal against Dragons, especially when using the Dragonwound Slash skill. With that, you jump in the air and perform a mighty slash that takes a great chunk of your enemy's health. To boost the damage of this Great Katana consider using the Shard of Alexander as it can boost the skill's power by 15%.
