Indiana Jones and The Great Circle coming to PS5, release dates confirmed

As was teased in the lead up to Gamescom Live, Indiana Jones swept in towards the end of the show with a snazzy trailer, a release date for PC, and even a reveal that it's coming to PS5.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle had an extended segment in Gamescom Live, with a gameplay trailer voiced by none other than Indiana Jones himself (or... Troy Baker, I guess), which showed off puzzles, some combat, and a Nazi getting whipped into an open well, which is just fab.

The release date for PC is December 9th, 2024, and the release date for PS5 is currently slated for the rather general timeframe of Spring 2025.

That means it's just a few more months before you can be like Indie and desecrate burial grounds, steal priceless culturally significant relics (because it belongs in a museum), and throw your whip around with genuinely inhuman skill. We got some more looks into how the game will play here too, with first person being the primary perspective for combat and exploration, with the game switching to third person for certain navigation obstacles, like when climbing with your whip. Personally, I'd say that's a great change, because I cannot imagine anything more barf inducing than whip swinging backwards and forwards in the confined halls of a very sacred burial ground.

Look, I won't lie, I really just want Bethesda to drop this one so they can get back to work on the Elder Scrolls 6, because I am an Elder Scrolls turbo nerd, so I'm thrilled to discover I won't have to wait too long. Plus, I didn't know I wanted to play an Indiana Jones game until I found out someone was making an Indiana Jones game, so maybe I'm a little excited for this too.
