Diamond in the Raft is Part 6 of the story quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. For this mission, Hope tasks you to collect some information from across the map and take down Emma Frost. Here's a detailed guide on how to complete all the quest objectives.
Diamond in the Raft story quest walkthrough - Fortnite
The Diamond in the Raft quest is divided into the following six stages that unlock one after the other:
- Stage 1: Find Hope's instructions near Doom's Courtyard.
- Stage 2: Use a Forecast Tower.
- Stage 3: Hire a Scout or a Supply Specialist.
- Stage 4: Place Stark Power Dampeners at the Raft.
- Stage 5: Defeat Emma Frost
- Stage 6: Talk to Hope about the final battle.
Where to find Hope's instructions near Doom's Courtyard (Map location)
In Fortnite Battle Royale, go to Doom's Courtyard POI in the northeast section of the map (see first image above). Land near the statue I've indicated in the second image and pick up the phone from there. The objective is marked on your map and screen so you will not have trouble locating it.
How to use a Forecast Tower
For the next task, you need to use a Forecast Tower. These satellite stations appear randomly midway during the match, so watch your map for satellite icons shown in the first image above. Go to the nearest Forecast Tower and take out the enemies guarding it. One of the NPCs will drop a Forecast Tower Access Card (second image). Pick up the card, go to the terminal, and interact with the computer to secure the forecast.
How to hire a Scout or a Supply Specialist (Map location)
The best way to complete this task in Fortnite is to hire the Scout east of The Underworld POI (see map above). You'll find an NPC (Artemis) roaming around the train station at the marked location. Go ahead and talk to Artemis to hire her as your scout specialist for 200 gold bars, which shouldn't be hard to find.
Where to place Stark Power Dampeners at the Raft (Map location)
The next step requires you to install gadgets at Emma Frost's stronghold: The Raft. You need to place three Stark Power Dampeners one after the other around the compound; I've marked the location for all these in the map above. You'll also get an indicator on your screen for where to plant the devices. Reach the marked spots and place power dampeners to complete the objective (see second image).
How to defeat Emma Frost
Thereafter, enter The Raft compound and look for Emma Frost who should be held up in the lower level of the prison. Taking her out should be easy; just beware of any enemy players nearby and try not to get ambushed by them.
Where to talk to Hope about the final battle (Map location)
Finally, go to Sandy Steppes in the southwest region of the Fortnite map (see first image above). Approach the chat indicator and you'll find Hope there. Talk to her about the final battle and once the conversation is over, you should have completed the Diamond in the Raft story quest.
