Type Soul 2024 Halloween Event Quest Guide

Type Soul has made a grand comeback to Roblox with the new Halloween Update. Along with a new fighting style and weapons, there are dedicated missions to celebrate the spooky season. So, if you don't know what the Type Soul Halloween Quest is or how to finish it, here is a dedicated process explaining everything.

How to start the Type Soul Halloween Quest

To start the Type Soul Halloween Quest, you have to meet the newly added Mysterious Witch NPC in the freshly revamped side of Karakura Town.

Mysterious Witch Halloween NPC Location

You can find her next to a garbage bin wearing bright purple-colored clothing. Alternatively, if you are on a PC, you can press the Comma (,) button to reveal all the NPC locations on that map, including the Mysterious Witch. Follow the Mysterious Witch marker to reach the location quickly.

Once you find her, interact with her to start a quest that revolves around eliminating ghosts from Hueco Mundo, Karakura Town, Soul Society, and Wanden.

All Ghost Spawn Locations in Type Soul

Though the Ghosts can spawn anywhere on a given map, these are the most common locations where you can find the ghosts in each area.

• Karakura Town: In the Lonely Bridge area at the edge of Karakura Town. You can also find them roaming around the construction area.

• Wanden: In Wanden, you can locate some ghosts roaming around the open ice area near the bridge.

• Soul Society: You can see a lot of ghosts near the mission board on the northern side, as shown in the image above.
• Hueco Mondo: In Hueco Mondo, you can find the ghost everywhere on the map. Just spawn in and you will see dozens of spirits roaming everywhere.

How to beat ghosts in Type Soul

Ghosts are pretty easy/low-level enemies to defeat in Type Soul. Irrespective of your build, just go behind their back and slash them. If they teleport, just be sure to block the orbs they release while they appear, and you will be fine.

Once you defeat a ghost, it might drop Ectoplasm. Collect this Ectoplasm and return to our Mysterious Witch NPC. Now, you will receive 7 Soulian Points for finishing the quest. At the same time, you can exchange your Ectoplasm for points. For example, if you give 4 Ectoplasm for 4 Soulian Points. Use these points to purchase various Halloween-exclusive rewards or other regular in-game items from the same NPC.

Basically, it is all about farming Ectoplasm by defeating ghosts and redeeming them for Points to get cool gifts from the shop.

All Exclusive Type Soul Halloween Rewards and Items

The following are the newly added exclusive rewards for Halloween 2024 that can be redeemed using points from the Mysterious Witch NPC.

• Witch Elixir (4 Points) - Consume the Witch Elixir to transform your character's head with a random Halloween pumpkin head.
• Halloween Cosmetic Box (30 Points) - Get a Halloween-based cosmetic item.
• Ghastly Core (50 Points) - An exclusive item required to spawn the Ghoulossus Halloween Event Boss.
• Spookyfier (60 Points) - A strange item whose use is currently unknown.

How to beat the Ghoulossus Halloween Event Boss in Type Soul

If you have managed to get the Ghastly Core item for 50 Points, you can spawn the Ghoulossus, King of the Dead boss. For this, head to Karakura Town Region and use the item anywhere to spawn the boss. Since he is a challenging boss, I'll describe how to counter his attacks during each phase to make your life easy.

• Phase 1: During the initial phase, he will only take damage in his crystal form. So, attack using your simple moves during the non-crystal phase, and wait for the transformation into the crystal form to use all your advanced moveset to dish out damage quickly.
• Phase 2: In phase 2, the boss can self-heal if he manages to knock or grip any players on the ground. So, avoid getting hit or gripped by moving around. At the same time, wait for the crystal form to deal damage like the former round.

With time, you will slowly start depleting the boss's health, leading to its demise. After defeating the boss, you will again receive a few Ectoplasm as a drop reward, which is highly disappointing. Hopefully, the developers will change the reward drops for the boss and make the event more enjoyable.
