Try to get the best SpongeBob TD traits for your units!

SpongeBob TD is one of those TD experiences where there are virtually no tooltips in the game. There is missing info about units and traits, and you, as the player, will have to figure out almost everything yourself. Well, not everything, as we'll help you with traits and rerolling! You can find the tier list of all traits in SpongeBob Tower Defense in the table above. Generally, the higher the rarity of a trait, the better it is. However, Scholar and Wealth's effects are fairly weak when you take into consideration all game mechanics, making them bad choices.

The three pure stat-boosting traits (Surge, Reach, Strike) are pretty default, and if you get a tier-3 one, it's usually worth sitting on it, especially on non-mythic units. As to which of those three is best, generally Surge because SPA is king, then Reach, and finally Strike.

How to Get Trait Rerolls in SpongeBob Tower Defense

There are multiple ways to get Trait Rerolls for free in SpongeBob TD. The developers are fairly generous and have ensured you're rewarded for grinding stages and playing the game daily. Here's how to get those Trait Rerolls:

  • Daily Rewards: Log into the game regularly, and on the seventh day, you'll get Trait Rerolls.
  • Free Season Pass: You get Trait Rerolls at multiple stages in the Season Pass.
  • Achievements: There are multiple achievements that reward Trait Rerolls. For example, the first time you summon the Shiny version of the unit, you'll receive x3 Trait Rerolls.
  • Redeem codes: SpongeBob TD codes often reward Trait Rerolls (you must be level 10 to redeem codes).
  • Quests: Complete daily, weekly, and other quests to earn more Trait Rerolls. This is by far the best source of rerolls in SpongeBob TD.
  • Trading: Exchanging items/units for rerolls is another way to get them (you must be level 15).
  • AFK Rock: When you're not actively playing, visit Patrick for AFK farming to get chests with rewards.
  • Merchant: Mr. Krabs sells rerolls for 1500 Coins a pop.
  • Robux Shop: You can buy the Premium Pass for more Trait Rerolls there or just buy them in the shop.
    • 5 Trait Rerolls: 595 Robux
    • 25 Trait Rerolls: 3,795 Robux
    • 100 Trait Rerolls: 11,399 Robux
