The Dragon Odyssey is a popular RPG featuring a unique and fantastical world filled with Sprites and Monsters. When you begin your journey, you get the choice of a class for your character from seven choices. As you progress, this class also evolves with you. So, to help you make the best choice, and choose the strongest starting class in The Dragon Odyssey, we've compiled this detailed class tier list.

The above tier list gives you an overall view of every class in The Dragon Odyssey. The S-tier class is by far the best choice, while the C-tier one isn't as strong as the others, and will make you have a harder time progressing through the game.

If you're unhappy with your character, you can either switch to a different character account or reroll your current account completely. Currently, there's no other way of changing your class in The Dragon Odyssey.

MageWarlock, Enchanter+ Best damage dealer, and AoE DPS in The Dragon Odyssey.
+ Decent survivability, and beginner-friendly.
+ When promoted to Warlock, becomes extremely strong at PvP.

A Tier Classes

PriestSage, Seer+ Decent DPS, but great survivability. Even better when promoted to Sage.
+ Not beginner-friendly, but great at team events with insane healing.
GunnerCannoneer, Tactician+ Extremely strong AoE class, but lacks in PvP.
+ Best for PvE game modes, and clearing mobs. Even better when promoted to Cannoneer.

B Tier Classes

BerserkerGuardian, Destroyer+ High HP and Defense, best played as tanks. Even better if promoted to Guardian.
- Lacks DPS and attack damage. Dependant on Sprites and team.
WarlordGuardian, Destroyer+ High HP and ATK, best played as a fighter. Even better if promoted to Destroyer.
- Lacks defense and overall damage. Similar to Berserker.
SuccubusReaper, Slayer+ Extremely high burst damage and DPS. Excels at PvP, if promoted to Slayer.
- Lacks almost any survivability, so very bad at PvE.

C Tier Classes

ClassPromotionReason
ProphetSage, Seer- Lacks DPS and Survivability. Viable if promoted to Seer.
- Healing isn't high, completely dependant on Sprites and teammates.
