Deviants offer a range of benefits to enhance your gameplay experience. Combat Deviants spice up battles by introducing unique skills or powerful passive abilities that increase your damage output. Meanwhile, Territory Deviants focus on resource management by farming materials in your Territory even while you're away. If you're lucky enough to find a Shiny (aka Morphed) Deviant, you'll enjoy a bonus that further amplifies their capabilities! Here are all Shiny Deviant locations and stats on Once Human.
Where to Find All Shiny Deviants in Once Human
You’ll first need to know where to look to obtain a Shiny Deviant. Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed way to find a specific Shiny, so you’ll have to keep trying until you find the one you’re after — persistence is key! For smoother navigation, we’ve organized all Deviants into three categories: Territorial, Combat, and Event. To speed things up, check out Once Human codes.
Category | Deviant Name |
---|---|
Territorial | Growshroom, Extradimensional Cat, Fetch-A-Lot Bunny, The Digby Boy |
Combat | Butterfly's Emissary, Festering Gel |
Event | Dr. Teddy, Logging Beaver, Shattered Maiden, Buzzy Bee |
All Territorial Shiny Deviant Locations
Territorial Deviants provide valuable benefits to your Territory by boosting Moods, generating Deviant Points, or gathering resources while you’re away. The key to finding them efficiently is knowing where to find the specific resource they’ll eventually collect for you.
Where to find Shiny Growshroom
Growshrooms have a chance of appearing while you gather mushrooms. Although mushrooms are generally found in forested areas, we’ve had the most success searching near rivers and other water sources. Our top farming spot is the cave northwest of Sunbury Middle School.
Follow the river and collect mushrooms along the way until you reach the other side of the cave. Mushrooms respawn when no players are within a certain radius. Fortunately, this radius is small enough to keep running through the cave, allowing you to search endlessly for the Shiny Deviant you’re after!
Alternatively, you can bring Deviants to you by growing mushrooms on your Territory. When it’s time to harvest them, there’s a chance a Shiny Deviant might spawn.

Where to find Shiny Extradimensional Cat
Extradimensional Cats spawn in specific Safe Zone locations in each region. To maximize your chances of finding them, switch worlds at the Teleportation Tower and check these key spots:
- Deadsville: The second floor of the red house is northwest of the Teleportation Tower.
- Meyer’s Market: In the office with the Secure Unit, north of the Teleportation Tower.
- Greywater Camp: Inside the bungalow container with the Wish Machine, east of the Teleportation Tower.
- Tall Grass Inn: Near the Cold BEVERAGES bar, north of the Teleportation Tower.
- Blackfell: The bar's second floor is east of the Teleportation Tower.

Where to find Shiny Fetch-A-Lot Bunny
Shiny Fetch-A-Lot Bunnies spawn when chopping down Bald Cypress and Dracaena trees. Like mushrooms, these trees respawn once players are far enough away, so finding the right loop can make tree farming much easier. For us, the best luck came from chopping down the enormous Bald Cypress in Iron River (around coordinates 4958, -4259).

Alice | Wildwood Spirit | The Deviation has a 10% chance of bringing back deviated flowers when gathering resources |
Where to find Shiny The Digby Boy
Shiny The Digby Boys spawn while mining Silver Ores. These Shiny Deviants may be the hardest to find due to the scarcity of Silver Ores. Not only are they hard to spot, as they resemble other ores like Tin, Aluminium, and Tungsten, but they’re also a rare spawn. Silver Ores typically appear near other metals, such as Copper or Tin. So, if you notice a cluster of ores with an odd one out, there's a good chance it's silver!

All Combat Shiny Deviant Locations
Combat Deviants offer valuable skills that boost your precision or survivability. They can be found as boss rewards or at specific high-level spawn locations. You’ll definitely need to put up a fight to get these ones!
Where to find Shiny Butterfly's Emissary
There are two ways to obtain Shiny Butterfly's Emissaries. The first method is by checking its spawn point at the 73 Source Extraction Point, located in the Lobby on the northeastern roof near the Rift Anchor. Be cautious, though, this area is filled with high-level enemies. It’s best to be around level 45 before you begin hunting here.
The other method for obtaining Shiny Butterfly Emissaries is by checking Secure Units at each Safe Zone:
- Deadsville: In the shed northeast of the Teleportation Tower.
- Meyer’s Market: In the office north of the Teleportation Tower (the Extradimensional Cat also spawns here).
- Greywater Camp: On the roof (third floor) of the blue building directly north of the Teleportation Tower.
- Tall Grass Inn: In a small storage space north of the Cold BEVERAGES bar, along the far wall.
- Blackfell: Under a tarp-roofed area, south of the two-story bar.
Note that there’s a chance the Deviant inside won’t be a Butterfly Emissary, but it’s worth checking! This method is especially useful for newer players looking to gain an edge in combat.
