Best SWORN Builds for Vigilante, Monk, Rook, and Specter (October 2025)

With the official release of SWORN 1.0 we've updated our best class builds list with focus on best Fae blessings.

This guide will break down the best SWORN builds so you know the most efficient Weapons, Spells, and Fae Lord synergies. With some Fae Lord’s Blessings capable of making or breaking a run, understanding how to build each class is key to taking down King Arthur (and that surprising enemy within a Grail).

Best Character Builds in SWORN - All Classes

The best builds in SWORN come from understanding how your Weapons and Spells interact with the Blessings you receive. Since RNG determines what you have to work with, it’s hard to recreate the same build every time. That said, you can improve those odds if you use Moonstone to buy Fated Dice before the run.

This way, you can reroll Fae lords and blessings until you get what you want. Of course, this is also very RNG-dependant, so instead of chasing a perfect setup, focus on acquiring two key Fae Lord Blessings and build around their strengths. For example:

• Stealth builds excel with high-scaling damage Fae Lords like Babd, Lugh, and Titania, but struggle with Gogmagog, who relies on rapid hits to charge his Stagger meter.
• Ranged builds should avoid close-combat dash blessings like Gormagog's. Instead, go for Babd or Lugh, as they offer good ranged-dash skills. Glass cannon focus is the best way to go here.

NOTE: Always have at least one secondary Fae blessing to maximize their powerful duo skills.

Best Vigilante Build in SWORN (Chakrams + Shadow Strike)

Best Vigilante build revolves around Shadow Strike + Babd combo because of the backstab bonus damage. The Chakram weapon features an unlockable passive called Rebound Blades, which grants a 50% damage increase when returning to Vigilante, so make sure to unlock it with Grail Water. Doubling down with Babd's Deadly Precision Blessing lets you boost all Backstab damage at once for devastating results. Here are the key Blessings to prioritize when playing as Vigilante. Feel free to experiment with alternative Faes, but try to get Light Attack, Spell, and Dash from Badb.

Best Monk Build (Chimes + Black Hole)

Monk excels at ranged combat, especially with the Chimes + Black Hole combo. Unlike Vigilante, Monk isn’t as reliant on specific Fae Lords — her strength comes from the ability to attack from anywhere. To maximize her damage output, focus on heavy-hitting Blessings from Lugh and Gormagog. Below is a list of Sworn Fae Blessings to prioritize when playing as a Monk.

Best Rook Build (Gauntlets + Sky Drop)

Best Rook builds in Sworn excel in Stun mechanics and high-scaling attacks. A successful run with Rook comes down to maximizing his Sky Drop spell for high-damage output and mobility. While Gauntlets have the best speed/damage balance, the Great Hammer is also a great choice, especially when upgraded at Nimue.

For the best results, prioritize Gormagog for Rook, whose defensive bonuses (Armored Skin for Shild!) and Stun control make him the ideal Fae Lord for Rook. Cliona also has some nice defensive passives like Death Shroud (you take less damage from enemies). Once enemies are stunned, follow up with powerful attacks from Titania or Lugh to maximize damage. Best Specter Build (Claws + Spirit Guardians)

The best Specter build focuses on lightning-fast light attacks with Claws and on your ability to avoid damage. For that, you'll need to pair multiple Fae Lords, as basically each attack slot needs another angle. Pairing him with Mab and her Brood Mother companion adds an extra layer of battlefield control — especially when you let the summoned spiders multiply by taking out weaker enemies.
