Does Delta Force Mobile Support Controller? Status, Plans & Workarounds

Find out if Delta Force Mobile supports controllers—and whether they can give you a competitive edge.

Delta Force is now available on PC, iOS, and Android, but mobile players face a steep learning curve when it comes to on-screen controls. The mobile version requires precise finger movements to move, aim, and shoot—a challenge that many players find frustrating. While most modern shooters offer controller support for better accessibility, Delta Force currently lacks this feature, leaving mobile gamers to rely solely on touch controls. But is there still hope for a smoother experience? Let’s dive in and find out.

Unfortunately, the straightforward answer is no—Delta Force Mobile does not support controllers on iOS or Android.

Even if you connect a controller via Bluetooth or a wired connection, the game simply would not recognize any input, as if the software lacks the necessary programming to detect controller support altogether.

That said, some third-party apps (essentially system emulators for Android and iOS) might allow you to program the inputs and use a controller with the game. However, since this isn’t officially supported, there’s always a risk of getting banned. Proceed with caution if you go this route.

Does Delta Force Give PC Players Controller Support?

Since its December 5, 2024 launch, the PC version of Delta Force has lacked controller support. However, with the release of Delta Force Mobile and the Season 4 on PC, players now have a dedicated controller section in the game’s Settings menu.

While you can see the basic settings like dead zones, input sensitivity and more, many controller-related options remain unavailable in the current build. This suggests that, even though controller functionality has finally arrived for the PC version, it’s still in its early stages—meaning we can expect further refinements and improvements down the line.

When Can You Expect Delta Force Mobile to Support Controllers?

Delta Force is currently available on PC and mobile, with a console version still in the works. Originally slated for a Q1 2025 release, the console edition has faced unexpected delays, leaving players waiting for its arrival.

When the console version finally launches, we anticipate full controller support will also come to the PC and mobile versions. Since consoles rely entirely on controllers, it’s logical that the developers will refine the current early-stage PC controller support and implement a polished system across all platforms.

Unfortunately, there’s no clear timeline for when this will happen. For now, all we can do is wait for an official update from the developers.
