In the latest update, the developers of Fish have introduced a new type of fishing called Lobster fishing. Indicative of its name, players can catch lobsters using cages at various locations. So, if you don't know how the new Lobster Update works, let me help you out.
How to get a Utility Boat in Fisch
Before catching a Lobster in Fisch, you have to get a Utility Boat in Fisch. Why? Well, all of the Lobster Cages can be deployed only if you use a Utility Boat. For this, select the Shipwright on any island and click on the Utility Boat option at the top of the menu. On the list, purchase a utility boat of your liking. Since you are beginning, I would suggest you get the Small Utility Boat for C$50000.
How to get the Lobster Cage in Fisch
Once you have the boat, the next step is to get the Lobster Cage. To do this, travel to the Lobster Shores in the First Sea. This is a newly added island at GPS (X: -603, Y: 132, Z: 2616) sandwiched between Terrapin Island and Forsaken Shores. Here, climb the staircase and reach the Dock area, where you can find plenty of Lobster Cages to equip for your boat.
- Old Cage: C$150
- Reinforced Cage: C$600
- Premium Cage: C$1000
Purchase a few of them and then go to the back of the utility boat to hang them.
All Lobster Fishing Locations in Fisch
Once you have the Utility Boat and the Lobster Cages, the only thing remaining is to catch Lobsters. Hop onto your boat and sit in the driving chair. Immediately, you will find all the Lobster Fishing locations on your sea popping as lobster icons in front of your screen.
All you have to do is drive to these locations and deploy your cages using the Utility Button (X). Wait for 5 to 6 minutes and then open the cage to catch the Lobsters. While opening, you have to play the small mini-game that revolves around pressing the rotating handle within the white area. Remember, you will not always catch a lobster each time you deploy a cage. So, be patient and keep deploying cages until you get the desired Lobster of your choice. Also, you can check the name of the Lobster you are catching from the name of the pool.
