Adventure Escape Mysteries Sweet Dreams walkthrough, Chapter 6
This chapter of Sweet Dreams begins as our heroes enter the third and final portal, having exited from Arlo’s bedroom after being shrunk. If you need information about earlier or later chapters in the game, we’ve got you covered. Head over to my Sweet Dreams walkthrough hub page where you will find everything you need.
Three wall puzzles
Click the doors (a1) to open them and then again to look at the pipes inside. Now look at the device on the wall (a2) which shows a series of lines leading to a large purple dot, the same as on the pipe diagram. Work out a way to get from the start to the large ball by using five pieces of pipe (after the green one), and entering those colors into the device. If you’re stuck, the sequence is yellow, dark blue, purple, light blue, and green (see below).
Once complete, you’ll receive the Star Picture. Put this in the frame (a3) and you’ll receive a Star. Use the star to open the blue door (a4), then click it to go through.
You’ll be faced with a grid full of arrows on a wall. Starting from the top-left spot, you need to click all of the arrows in a continuous line, but all of the arrow directions are reversed. See the solution below if you get stuck.
You’ll now be faced with a new puzzle wall. For this one, note the position of the star in each of the outer images, and then imagine those images twisted so the star is at the top (as it is in the central image). Copy the colors of the symbols onto the central image accordingly. The solution is below.
One wall to go and this time it’s another maze-like puzzle. You need to follow the four-shade sequence at the top of the wall and fill in every block on the grid. I’ve put the solution below if you’re stuck on this one.
The torn pieces
Pick up the Torn Puzzle Board Picture (b1), then click the correct sequence of shapes on the wall according to the design in the first room (a5).
However, as it is upside down, the order of the buttons you need to press is triangle, circle, dash, and upsides-down star. Take the second Torn Puzzle Board Picture that appears in a box on the right of the screen (b2).
Put the torn pieces in the frame (a3) to receive the Puzzle Board. Go back into the side room and add this board to the wall (b3) to begin a jigsaw puzzle. You’ll need to rotate the board to insert many of the pieces and if you’re getting stuck on it, check the image above which has just one piece left to place in it.
The reversing room
When you’re finished, head back out to the main room to find that the big red button (a6) now has a symbol on it, which allows you to reverse the room. Press the button. Click the small hatch (c1) to find a Green Key. Reverse the room once more, then use it to open the green hatch (a7).
Reverse the room again and a banner will fall from the open hatch, displaying the symbols (from the top) Moon, Dash, Star, and Circle. Reverse it again, go into the side room, and press this sequence of shapes. The right hatch will open (b4), allowing you to take a Glass Ball.
Go back to the main room, reverse it, place the ball on the pedestal (c2), and then reverse it again. The glass ball will smash, allowing you to take the Gold Key. Reverse back and use the key to open the purple wall puzzle (c3).
You can’t do anything here yet except note the familiar pattern of four symbols, which this time are star, moon, donut, and reverse star. However, note the number of squares each is set in, which changes the sequence to the Donut, Star, Reverse Star, and then the Moon. Enter this code in the side room once more and take the two Planks, while noting all the clues.
Two planks and a blue ball
Now you can tackle the purple puzzle (c3). You need to place the planks so that the yellow balls cover the following items:
- Flatback: Rabbit
- Plane: Crab
- Boat: Lighthouse
- Saloon car: Lollipop
You can reverse the image, which will make the balls drop to land on the next plank in its column. Do the plane first, as once in place it can’t move so is a nice way to get the feel of the puzzle. I’ve pictured the completed puzzle above. Once done, you’ll receive a Blue Ball.
Without reversing the room, set the purple ramps (d1) up as shown above, place the blue ball (d2), and then reverse the room. The ball will go through a hole to reveal the yellow donut symbol (d3). You’ll get the ball back, so repeat the process to make the ball drop through the rest of the holes until you have all four symbols (see below).
This time note the background shades on each symbol, as this is marked on the ceiling of the side room (b5). This gives you the order Cross, Circle, Dash, and Donut. Press those buttons in the side room and you’ll receive the Paper Mache Ball.
Put the ball into the confetti cannon (a7), click it to fire it, and you’ll receive the Door Picture Pieces. Select them in your inventory for a close-up and rearrange them to make the door (note that you can click pieces to turn them to different angles). Once done, you’ll have the Door Picture. Put it in the picture frame (a3) to get a Door, place it on the floor (c4), and head through.

Freeing the crystal
Grab the Small Crystal Ball (e1), click Diamond Guy (e2) to raise his hat to find the Gauge, and then open the draw (e3) to find a Turn Key. Use the turn key on the yellow box (e4) to flip Square Guy, who will thank you by giving you the Small Key.
Click the switch to the right of the crystal so it turns red (from white), and then drop the crystal ball through the green portal (above e2). It will fall through red, blue, and then pink, which earns you the Gear. You can also place the small crystal ball (e5) to see that you need two more to release the crystal (you can take it back later if you need it).
Select the area at the back of the room for a close-up (e6) and note the symbols on the wall behind. Use the small key to open the cabinet (e7) and work out which of the symbols on the back walls equates to two symbols (on the two sides) to find out the faces you need to input on the wall. See the correct result above.
Select the pyramid that rises and complete the math puzzle (completed puzzle pictured above) to claim the Large Crystal Ball. Drop it into the portal (e11) to place it.
Open the cupboard (e8) to find a Lever, then take the Picture (e9) and place it on the stairs (e10) to make a ramp. Put the gauge, lever, and gear in the machine (e12) and Diamond Guy will shrink, opening the gate and allowing you to pick up the Medium Crystal. Drop it through the green portal and you’ll receive the final Exit Crystal. With that, you’ll complete the chapter.
