Age of Empires 4 was revealed during the E3 2021 Bethesda and Xbox Showcase, and many players are already excited. One question that seems to be on everyone's mind is "When can we play it?". For those of us sitting on the edge of our seat, tapping our fingers as we impatiently look for an answer, there is some good new!

At the end of the game's E3 gameplay trailer, it was revealed that Age of Empires 4's official release date is slated for October 28, 2021. We also had a first look at what the game entails, making us all feel like the end of October couldn't come soon enough.

In April 2021, the game posted its first Gameplay Trailer, which can be viewed in the video below. This five-minute trailer highlights how true-to-the-original the game's general play style is. From what can be seen, veteran players of the franchise will be wholly enamoured by what made the previous installments great, but with better visuals and effects.
