How to Unlock and Switch Seals in AI Limit

It's easy to unlock and switch Seals in AI Limit if you know this...

Seals are one of the most essential pieces of equipment you'll have as a Blader in AI Limit. So, it's important you unlock them as soon as possible and, of course, equip only the best ones. To help you learn how to do that, here is our complete guide on Seals in AI Limit.

How to Change Main Seal & Normal Seals in AI Limit

To be able to change your Main Seal and Normal Seals in AI Limit, you'll have to get the Seal Needle. The Seal Needle is located inside a house just below the Outer-Wall Ruins Abandoned Houses Branch. You'll recognize it by the light-blue sheet metal covering it on the outside.

Once you have the Seal Needle, go to any Branch (Outer-Wall Ruins Abandoned Houses is the closest one) and select the Rewrite Seal option from the Branch menu. Here, you can now change your Main Seal and Normal Seals. To upgrade your Main Seal, click on Enhance and then switch to the second tab.

What Is the Difference Between Main Seals & Normal Seals?

Main Seals affect your Sync Meter and the number of Normal Seal slots. They also have unique bonuses that Normal Seals don't provide. You can only equip one Main Seal, and there are fewer of them overall.

Normal Seals, on the other hand, provide specific small buffs (resistances, defensive stats, etc.) and are much more abundant. Switching them out for every area/boss is recommended so you get the appropriate bonuses/defenses.

How to Get Main Seals & Normal Seals in AI Limit

To get Main Seals in AI Limit, you'll most often have to talk to an NPC, interact with a Memory, or defeat a boss. There are very few of them in total, and if you just normally progress while killing all the bosses and interacting with every NPC you encounter (be sure to talk to NPCs over and over again until they start spamming the same line), you'll get them all.

Now, Normal Seals are usually collectibles on the map, and missing one of these is much easier compared to Main Seals. So, to collect them all, it's best you clear every area thoroughly and backtrack if necessary.

What Are the Best Seals to Use in AI Limit?

The best Main Seals to use in AI Limit depend on your build. For example, the Seal of Investigator buffs your Spell Damage, so if you're rolling with a Spell-focused build, that one is definitely a good choice. On the other hand, Seal of the Tree provides Sync Rate buffs and has a good Sync Meter, making it good for any build. Here is a list of the best Main Seals to use and why they are good:

  • Standard Seal of Bladers: The best early-game Main Seal in AI Limit. It gives you bonus Stability and Conversion, which are important stats no matter your build.
  • Seal of the Tree: Increases your Sync Rate over time and has a really good Sync Meter. It's one of the best all-around Main Seals in AI Limit.
  • Seal of Clergies: Adds bonus Lightning Damage to your Spells and Weapon Skills. It's actually OP with low-cost skills that you can spam.

The best Normal Seals to use in AI Limit are usually the ones that provide the best defensive bonuses for the area/boss you're currently dealing with, as well as unique damage-relevant buffs. Here is a short list of the best Normal Seals and why they are good to use:

  • Conversion: Upgrades your Sync Meter Level I to Level II, which basically improves your base DPS at all times.
  • Nova: Reduces damage taken by 20% while your Sync Rate is at 100%. It's one of the best defensive Normal Seals in AI Limit.
  • Metastability/Stability: Increase your Stability, which is one of the hardest stats to increase in general.
  • Jade Form/Emerald Form: Increase all of your defensive stats, making you harder to kill in general.
  • Hardened Skin/Steel Shell: Increase your Physical Defense, which affects the damage you take from most normal enemy attacks.
  • Moon Dew/Moon Radiance: Increase your Poison Resistance, making Poison build-up much slower. It's important you use them in areas with poisoned water.
  • Cleansing Therapy: Increases your Piercing Resistance, making Piercing build-up much slower. So many strong bosses and enemies apply Piercing, making this Seal a life-saver in a lot of scenarios.

Well, your AI Limit grind should be that much smoother now that you know how to change your Seals and which Seals are best. If you found this guide helpful and want to learn more about the game, be sure to visit the AI Limit section here on Pro Game Guides.
