Once you complete the first experience in AILA, you'll take a little break, take a walk around the apartment, and then go to bed. The next morning, before continuing with testing, you'll first do some work in the apartment related to the newly arrived package. One particular task will require you to assemble the electronic panel. It might sound a bit confusing at first, but here's what you'll need to do.
How to Assemble the Electronic Panel in AILA
On the morning after your first experience, you’ll spend some time walking around the apartment before continuing your playtest of the A.I.L.A. system. If you’re anything like me and tend to click on everything and explore every nook and cranny, you’ll probably notice that the main character tinkers with robotics in his spare time as a side project.
Shortly after your morning coffee - and after feeding the (if you ask me, very annoying) cat named Jones - another package will arrive on your balcony via delivery drone. Samuel receives quite a few of these throughout the game. I think three or four show up within the first couple of hours alone. This one, however, is especially important. It contains the electronic components you’ll need to build a controller for your robot.
Put the Box on the Dining Table

After taking the box from the delivery drone, bring it to the large table in your living room (the dining table). It’s a big white table surrounded by white chairs - you can’t miss it. There are already several electronic components on it, and that’s where you’ll need to place the box. When you approach the table, an interaction prompt will appear and open your inventory. Select the Delivery Box and click Use to place it down.
Electronic Components

When you place the Delivery Box on the table, it will immediately start opening on its own, revealing three Electronic Components inside. Take all three and add them to your inventory. You’ll also find a Screwdriver and a Robot Panel Card on the table - pick those up as well. To the left of the box, you’ll notice a white device with a screen. Press F to interact with it, which will open your inventory. Select the Screwdriver and click Use to open the device.
Placing the Components in the Correct Positions

With the device open, interact with it again and add all three Electronic Components to it. You can first place all three next to it, and then navigate them one by one in order to find the perfect position for each one. Here's what you can do with each one.
- Use WASD to move the components around the motherboard.
- Press R to rotate the currently selected component
- Left-click to place the selected component.
- Right-click to return it and select another one.
I’ll admit, it took me a while to figure out where each component goes, but I eventually got it. Place the longest component at the bottom, the SSD-like component at the top (with the connector facing left), and the RAM-shaped stick on the right, positioned vertically. If you arrange them this way, everything will fit perfectly in place, and the AILA Electronic Panel will be assembled correctly.
Install the Panel in the Bedroom

Now comes the final part of this quest. Once assembled, the panel will be added to your inventory. As your last step, head to your bedroom (the one where you slept the previous night) and install the panel there. You’ll find a large empty socket across from the bathroom (see our image). Place the panel into it and voilà - you’re done!
Well, almost done. You’ll now need to add the final piece to the panel - the Robot Panel Card you picked up earlier. However, when you try to install it, the system will display an error message saying that the “routine programming card is older than the current hardware” and that you need to “replace it with an updated card.” But that's a story for another quest. For now, our AILA Electronic Panel guide is completed.

AILA Assemble the Electronic Panel FAQ
Let's just say he's doing it as a hobby. We don't want to spoil other details.
It’s heavily implied that something is off with AILA’s behavior, but the game never gives you a clear, definitive answer. Whether the AI has truly gone rogue or is simply following a flawed or evolving protocol is left intentionally ambiguous.
AILA will do this for you the next morning. You don't need to do anything after installing the panel.
