Awareness Badges

All awareness badges will be given to all players in Season 11 of Apex Legends

If you missed out on them before, you're in luck.

This week, many Apex Legends players noticed that a few of their badges were missing. The badges in particular were the Black Lives Matter badge, the Pride badge, the Stop Asian Hate badge, and the Suicide Awareness badges. These badges to show pride, awareness, and/or support have been integral to many Apex Legends players’ experience since they first started being added in February.

The one thing that didn’t sit right about these badges, however, was that if you didn’t log in during the month they were given away, you didn’t have access to them. So, what does this have to do with the missing badges?

It was announced today that the developers are changing the way that awareness badges are coded in the game. Rather than having them be a login bonus for players who played Apex Legends during certain months, they will soon be permanently available to all Apex Legends players.

In order to enact this correctly, the badges had to be temporarily removed from the game, but they will only be gone for a week. All awareness badges will be returned to all players who had them and gifted to all players who didn’t on Nov. 2 with the launch of Season 11: Escape.
