All changes to the Winter Express for the Raiders Collection Event Apex Legends

All aboard!

The Winter Express Limited-Time Mode (LTM) has returned to Apex Legends for the holiday season, but the game is slightly different. While the train itself is the one long-time players know and love, other things have changed. Let’s look at all of the changes that the Raiders Collection Event patch brought to the Winter Express.

Custom Loadouts

Rather than a random loadout being assigned to each Legend per day, players can now pick their loadout before boarding the train. Players are encouraged to try different loadouts and find what works best for them, but also, it may not be a bad idea to pick your Arenas go-to for this LTM too.

More Legends to choose from

This is the first time Fuse, Valkyrie, Seer, and Ash are getting in on the Winter Express action. Fuse’s Knuckle Cluster can be extra deadly in such a small space, and Valkyrie and Ash’s abilities to reposition will be helpful as well. On the other hand, Seer will be good at preventing players from hiding in the nooks and crannies of the train.

Around for less time

This time around, the Winter Express is here for the Raiders Collection Event running from Dec 7 to Dec 21. There is no Holo-day Bash event, meaning that rather than the Winter Express LTM being around for four weeks, it will only be available for two. Get your games in while you can.
