Apex Legends Weapons List – All Guns, Damage, & Stats

We're taking a look at all the available guns in Apex Legends along with their stats and damage!

Our Apex Legends Weapons List has a full offering of all the currently available weapons in the game. We've compiled their stats, damage, dps, and available slots for each of them. There's a wide vary of options that you can use including pistols, shotguns, SMGs, LMGs, and sniper rifles.

While the majority of the time you find a weapon it will be without attachments, you will occasionally find a gun that appears to be golden. This isn't a Legendary weapon, but a rare spawn that gives you a gun with top tier attachments already equipped. There are currently only two legendary weapons: Kraber .50-CAL Sniper and the Mastiff Shotgun.

Apex Legends Weapons & Damage List

The full list of weapons and guns is below. I've made note in areas where certain weapons might differ in strange ways. There are some pretty unique options in the game. DPS stats are from here.

New Gun in Season 2: L-Star Plasma Fueled EMG

The L-Star is a new Legendary weapon that can only be found in Supply Drops. It's fully automatic, and fires plasma ammunition. Like the other weapons from the Supply Drops, you can't replenish the ammunition.

Pistols

Mozambique Shotgun

The Mozambique Shotgun is a pretty interesting weapon since it's a pistol and a shotgun mashed together. It uses shotgun shells and can hold three rounds.

  • Bodyshot: 63 damage, DPS: 126

Mastiff Shotgun

This thing is extremely powerful and is one of two legendary weapons currently. The interesting part about this weapon is that rather than your standard cluster of pellets that tend to be in kind of a circle, this one fires in a horizontal line. The Mastiff uses unique ammunition, so once you run out you'll have to replace the weapon. These are pretty hard to find, and as far as we can tell it can only be found from a supply drop.

Havoc Rifle

This is a full automatic energy ammo using weapon. It's fairly similar to the Devotion, and can use the same Turbocharger hop-up. The difference is that it can also use the Selectfire Receiver hop-up as well, and enabled a charge beam alt-fire mode. This can give you the option for a sniper like shot that does a lot of damage! You can only have one of these attached to it at a time.

LMGs

Devotion LMG

The Devotion LMG is an energy weapon and speeds up its fire-rate the longer you hold down the trigger. This gun has surprisingly gotten pretty high praise among players, and the only real draw back being that energy ammo is hard to find.

Triple Take

This is a weird sniper rifle because when you fire it takes one round but it fires three projectiles. The projectiles fire in a horizontal line but in a pretty tight grouping. It's possible to hit players with only a piece of the shot, but this is generally going to happen pretty rarely. It uses energy ammo and holds 5-rounds in a magazine. This gun can be upgraded with the Precision Choke that tightens up the spread.

  1. The alternator damage per bullet is 15, not 13. I believe it was changed at the begining of season 2.

  2. Anybody know how the select fire attachment alters the dps of the prowler? Bodyshot dps is 186 in burst mode. Does the hop up change this?

    1. Using tjis hopup enables the user to switch a prowler from burst to fully automatic, pumping out many more bullets.

    1. I used to adore the R-301 because of its easy to kill with one magazine even from medium range. However recently i often find myself outgunned from close range by an R-99 that has a faster fire rate. So i been playing with that more often also. And it has the added bonus that you can put the threath optic on it, on the R-301 you can’t. So for medium distance the R-301 is better controlable imo, but from close the R-99 is better. And in Apex you never know what kind of situation you’ll get into 😀

  3. On the assault rifles its useful to switch them to single fire and quickly tap the fire button. You can get higher fire rates on both the R-301 and more specifically on the much higher damage Flatline like this.

  4. Wingman is my staple. You can 2 shot players as long as they don’t have lvl 3 body shield and helmet.

Skull pierced and treat optics are common .

  5. Using as a sniper (in long ranges), i’m think you will never hit 3 shots with Triple Take and hit only 1 isn’t so rare. So I think it is only a decent weapon for players that haven’t a good aim and will have a better chance to hit.

  6. Hi! Very nice to see detailed stats so quick after the release of this game. There is one thing that seems odd to me, the Hemlock burst AR has a decent 18 damage on body but only 24 on head, while most other weapons have 2x on head. Is this number confirmed?

    1. I’m pretty sure it’s correct, I think this is because it’s a burst weapon. The Prowler is also similar in damage and isn’t 2x.

  7. Nice! That’s a lot of usefull information. Ty for that 🙂 You could add some notes about special interactions like if you have proper optic on Peacekeeper, you can make shoots supercharged it makes them not spread at all. I wonder if there are more things like this atm.

  8. What weapons would people recommend for a sniper, I use mostly the Triple Take. Should I have an automatic or shotgun as my secondary?

    1. An automatic for a secondary is a better idea than a shotgun, assuming you can aim for close range engagements.

Though I’m possibly masochistic and just run the Wingman for a secondary while sniping, if you can aim well, the Wingman’s a beast of a weapon.
