The worlds of ARK: Survival Ascended play a big role in how you survive. With multiple maps from ARK: Survival Evolved, players may be wondering what maps are in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Wildcard Studios intends to add all previously available maps from ARK: Survival Evolved to ARK: Survival Ascended. However, let's talk about what the best maps in ARK: Survival Ascended are.

Best maps to play in ARK Survival Ascended (ASA)

At the time of writing, only The Island is available in ARK: Survival Ascended. The game launched in early access, so only a portion of the content is available. The remaining maps and worlds will eventually be added to the game through updates. So, for the time being, The Island is the best map in ARK Survival Ascended as it is the only map available.

Fan favorite worlds I'd like to see added first are Lost Island, Ragnarok, Fjordur, and Crystal Isles. These, along with The Island, were the best maps in ARK: Survival Evolved. We'll update this list as more maps are added to ARK: Survival Ascended. Personally, I cannot wait to see the visual upgrade to every map once they arrive.

The Island is a world made up of a single larger island surrounded by smaller ones; it's a basic world and features a variety of creatures, resources, and environments to discover. The Island has twelve spawn locations, most of which are along the shore and vary in difficulty. Most players will begin their ARK: Survival Ascended journey here.
