How to find Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended
To get or find Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended maps, you must search either the deepest sections of the ocean or shallow water areas. Other areas players can find Silica Pearls include:
- Snow biomes: Along the shore and near shallow water areas, players can sometimes find several Silica Pearl nodes.
- Dead mobs: The following creatures in Ark Survival Ascended give Silica Pearls when harvested
- Ammonites
- Leeches
- Trilobites
- Eurypterids
- Phoenixes: Phoenixes defecate Silica Pearls.
- Bottom of oceans: Along the bottom of oceans, you can find Silica Pearls. Check around the coordinates below to find a few locations where Silica Pearls spawn:
- 89.1, 10.3
- 91.3, 39.4
- 78.4, 91.0
- 8,2, 29.4
- Bottom of rivers: Sometimes, you can find a few Silica Pearl nodes around the bottom or near shallow river areas. However, Silica pearls are more common in the ocean, so we recommend checking around the coordinates above first.
- 30.9, 32.7
- 60.3, 16.
Overall, it is not hard to find a few pearls once you figure out where they spawn. Silica Pearls also appear as silky black rocks like the one shown below:
Best way to farm Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended
The best way to farm Silica Pearls is with an underwater creature called the Anglerfish, as it has the best harvest rate among all Ark Survival Ascended mobs. You can find and tame the Anglerfish by searching for it near 30.1, 32, and 46.5, 84.5 coordinates. We also recommend using a crossbow and tranquilizer arrows to make taming and knocking out the Anglerfish easier. You can make both using the following materials:

- Seven Metal Ingots
- 35 Fiber
- 10 Wood
- How to make tranquilizer arrows:
- One Stone Arrow
- One Narcotic
What are Silica Pearls used for in Ark Survival Ascended?
Silica Pearls are primarily required to make Electronics and Bronto Platform Saddles. You can make both items using the following materials:
- How to make Electronics:
- One Metal Ingot
- Three Silica Peal
- How to make a Bronto Platform Saddle:
- 46 Cementing Paste
- 125 Silica Pearls
- 325 Fiber
- 550 Hide
- 90 Metal Ingots
