The gacha aspect of Arknights Endfield is impossible to escape; the vast majority of playable characters can only be obtained through it. And though you can count on max potential of all 4★ and even 5★ units fairly shortly into your adventure, it's the 6★ units (and their own potential) that will truly stand out and make a difference on the battlefield. Let's take a look at the basic principles behind Endfield banner rules and who and when to expect to run, or rerun in the future.
Arknights Endfield Banner History
Let’s take a look at the limited operator banner archive (data currently sourced from Beta Test II). As it grows, we will be able to make educated guesses about unit reruns and to know when to prepare for the return of a beloved operator. It’s yet unknown if these units will follow the same order when the game launches, but we have a reason to believe they will.

- Laevatain [Stiker, Heat]
- Yvonne [Caster, Cryo]
- Gilberta [Supporter, Nature]
That’s the currently available banner history. If you’re interested in the Endfield operator ratings to prepare your pulls for the best new addition to your team, check out our Endfield Operator Tier List.
Arknights Endfield Gacha Rules
The chances of getting a 6★ operator on any banner is 0.8%; so, very very small. Once you've reached 65 pulls (soft pity) on a single banner, your chances for getting a 6★ operator will grow by 5% with every next pull. You will hit hard pity at the 80th pull, which guarantees you a 6★ operator. Pulling any 6★ operator on any banner will reset the odds back to regular 0.8%.
Standard banner will only grant you one of the 5 standard 6★ units, with the pool consisting of:
- Ember
- Lifeng
- Ardelia
- Last Rite
- Pogranichnik.
Pulling on a limited banner gives you a 50% chance to obtain the 6★ currently on the rate up, while the remaining 50% chance is split among the standard 6★ operators and any operators from the previous two limited banners (if available).
So, upon hitting 80 (65+) pulls on a limited banner, there is a 50/50 chance to result in the limited unit on the rate-up. However, making 120 pulls on a limited banner regardless of the outcome on first hard pity will grant you the rate-up operator, once only.
This basically means that if you really want to be 100% certain that you will get that unit, you shouldn't pull unless you have those 120 pulls ready. However, if you're willing to accept the 50/50, making 80 pulls on a banner will grant you the highest possible amount of 6★ units (and their copies) no matter the outcome.
It's important to note that the pity count does not carry over between limited banners, and a fruitless accumulated pity on a banner will be gone forever upon banner change.
Another interesting point is that the limited unit on a rate up is not gone until rerun when their rate up banner expires; instead they will be present in the draw pool for another two limited banners, and should you lose your 50/50 on the next one, you may also get them as well as the other standard units.
So, the Endfield gacha brings some good and some bad things in regards of what the players are used to from other popular gacha games out there.
FAQ
So far, the set date for the release of Arknights Endfield is January 22, 2026.
We aren't sure yet if the banners will be the same. All data is wiped after the Beta Test, so anyone who managed to get the limited banner characters will have lost them by the time the game goes through a full release. They might decide to change up the banners for when the game officially comes out.
If there is a banner for Laeviathan, then definitely pull for her. She is one of the best (if not the best) characters in Arknights Endfield.
