What is the best Arknights recruit calculator?

Several are available online, but I find that GamePress has the best Arknights recruit calculator. It's pretty easy to use, which I appreciate since I don't have luck in gacha games. Calculators help us to boost our odds and get the best Arknights operators. Note that you can't get all operators with Recruitment, as some are exclusive to the Headhunting pool.

How to use the Arknights recruit calculator

As mentioned above, the GamePress Arknights recruit calculator is pretty straightforward. You use calculators like this one to see all possible operators you can get in the Recruitment pull. Let me show you the steps and make it even easier to use. First, you need to open your game and press the Recruit button on the main screen.

Once inside, you'll see four recruitment slots. You want to keep these filled at all times. The highest recruitment time is nine hours, but you can't always check the game as soon as the nine hours are up. The best option is to go into the game once a day and set up a new recruitment process.

What you want to keep in mind when recruiting is the Recruitment Time and the Job Tags. You'll get better units the longer you set the time.

  • 1-3 hours can recruit 1-4 star operators
  • 4-7 hours can recruit 2-5 star operators
  • 8-9 hours can recruit 3-4 star operators

To use the calculator correctly, you need to check your Job Tags. I'll show you how to work the calculator in the example above. As you can see, I selected the five job tags I got in the game on the recruitment calculator: Sniper, Defender, Ranged, DP-Recovery, and AoE.

Selecting these tags will show you all the guaranteed operators you can get. You will usually choose only two or three of the tags in the game, as some exclude each other.

Scroll down on the GamePress site to find all the possible operators you can get for your selected tags. These are the options the Arknights Recruit calculator gave for my example.

At the top of the list, you will see operators with more of your tags, usually three. The further down you go, the fewer tags the operators will have. More tags mean more specific characters and fewer options, as seen above. If you select only the AoE tag, you will get more operators and fewer chances to pull the one you want.

What you'll select is up to you, depending on who you want or need. Look carefully through the list and select the tags for the operators you want. I picked Sniper, Ranged, and AoE, hoping to get Sesa, but I got the three-star Catapult with my luck.

If you do not like your tags, you can press the refresh button up to three times to get a new set. Once you do, follow the same process in the Arknights calculator to see what your options are.
