When you are near a Sarentu Totem, look for a cloth that has a painting on it. This painting will have an arrow that tells you where to find the next painting. That said, don't mistake it for telling you where to look for the Sarentu Totem to solve it.

Following the first painting, when you reach the next one, you will have another directional arrow in the painting.
