How to Hack/Infect Enemies and Switches in Axiom Verge 2

In Axiom Verge, one ability we can get is the ability to hack enemies and switches with Mushhus, a piece of equipment you can pick up. However, finding the Mushhus can be a confusing endeavour, as there isn't a lot of direction to tell you how to get it. In the guide below, we explain how to get this object and how to use it.

The first thing you need to know is exactly where to find the Mushhus Urn. Luckily, the navigation in this game is incredibly easy to understand. The Mushhus Urn is at coordinates 26, 9 on your map. In the image below, you will see what the map looks like in the area where the Urn is located.

Once you reach this area, you must break the Urn to be imbued with the power to hack enemies and the switches sporadically placed around the map. To use it, simply hold down the button it is equipped to and wait for it to target the object you'd like to infect. Some examples of this are shown in the image below.

That covers the basics of how to hack these enemies and open the switches. However, below we have listed some crucial information to know before you return to the game!

• Upgrades: Some enemies and switches cannot be infected until you have upgraded this ability. To upgrade it, you can enter the Skills Menu and navigate to the Infection upgrades after you have obtained Apocalypse Flasks.
• Try to hack everything!: If it exists, try to hack it! You'd be surprised by how much objects can help when you infect them. The Orb droppers can be hacked to switch between what item is dropped. Some of them can even be hacked to drop Health Node Fragments.
• Platforms: Stationary platforms can be hacked while you're standing on top of them. Once activated, they might float to a place that you weren't able to reach before, or take you to a secret area where you'll find Health Nodes or Apocalypse Flasks.
• Switches: The blue switches can be hacked at level one infection level, the red switches can be hacked at level three, and the gold switches can be hacked at level four.
