Best Ships in Azure Lane Tier List

Azur Lane is one of the games that own their popularity to Genshin Impact. This side-scrolling shooter game features animal girls that are the personification of famous naval battleships. The ships are ranked in four tiers, from S to C, based on their effectiveness in combat. This list is not to be taken strictly but more as a suggestion. Also, the rankings can be changed with updates, which we will follow closely.

Best Ships in Azur Lane

S-Tier

• Musashi - This ship excels in damage dealing. Thanks to her formidable canons, Musashi is the strongest ship in the game when it comes to damage output.
• New Jersey - Out of all ships in the game, New Jersey has the best overall stats. However, her strongest suit is dishing out damage to the enemy units. So far, this is the best ship in the game.

A-Tier

• Gascogne - Gascogne is a balanced and versatile ship, able to do any role required. She's really good at anti-air barrage and generally balances out the team. However, Jack of all trades is ace in none.
• Flandre - Flandre offers a lot of potential as an offensive unit when equipped with a good build. Her forte is her burst potential that comes from her barrage ability. Still, Flandre's damage is not so great.

B-Tier

• Bismark - Bismark is a good all-rounder ship with an emphasis on survival skills due to her self-healing ability. Unfortunately, her DPS ratio is lower than the top tiers, which puts her firmly in the mid-ranks.
• Monarch - This ship is the ultimate aggressive powerhouse. She's heavily armored, with a Memento Mori ability that boosts her firepower. Her downside is a very long cooldown time, and that prevents her from joining the upper ranks.

C-Tier

• Gangut - Gangut suffers from exceptionally thin armor, which makes her extremely vulnerable, even against B-Tiers. If you retrofit her, she can dish out a lot of firepower but needs a lot of protection.
• Yamashiro - She is very tanky and can take a lot of damage for a low-tier ship. However, Yamashiro lacks offensive options since even her barrage fire is defensive.
